Our vision at MS Delta GEAR UP is to empower low-income students across Mississippi to achieve their dreams of higher education. Through our comprehensive, seven-year partnership grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education, we are dedicated to preparing over 2,700 students annually from 6th grade through their first year of college. By providing essential services such as tutoring, academic counseling, dual enrollment opportunities, and career development, we aim to increase college readiness and success.

We envision a future where every student has access to the support and resources needed to navigate the complexities of postsecondary education. Through strategic partnerships with nine school districts and other stakeholders, we facilitate in-class and extended-day tutoring, homework assistance, mentoring, and immersive college exploration experiences. Our program extends beyond academics to include family engagement events focused on college applications, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
